OUR MISSION
Our mission is to empower communities through agriculture, education, and cultural preservation, while honoring the legacy of Black sugarcane farmers in South Louisiana.
Our goal is to celebrate the region’s diverse culture, help restore ecological balance, and strengthen South Louisiana’s economic foundation.
Through this work, we ensure that agriculture remains a pathway to opportunity, unity, and prosperity for all.
“Lache pas la patate—don’t let go of the potato. At Provost Farm, we hold tight to our roots, our land, and our legacy, growing a stronger future for everyone.” — Angela Provost

OUR IMPACT
We’re proud of our recent accomplishments!
Through Provost Farm and our partners, we’ve helped farmers in South Louisiana gain critical support to strengthen their livelihoods.
In 2024 alone, our technical assistance programs helped community members secure over $5 million in financial awards through the Inflation Reduction Act (Sections 22006 and 22007).
We’re grateful to the organizations and institutions who continue to join us in advancing equity across our region!
