Our heritage center
Provost Farm Heritage Center and Community Garden is located on a revitalized 2-acre plot, where we host workshops, exhibits, and events that highlight agriculture through land stewardship, art, historical storytelling, and hands-on technical assistance.
The surrounding gardens cultivate sugarcane and seasonal crops, offering access to fresh produce while showcasing ancestral practices. By honoring the legacy of Black sugarcane farmers, the center fosters connection, collaboration, and empowerment—welcoming people of all generations and backgrounds to engage with the land and its history.
